Recently, the "Qianhai Shenzhen Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Cooperation Zone Green Building Environmental Assessment Standards" (hereinafter referred to as the "Qianhai Green Building Standards") have been officially launched and implemented, marking a breakthrough in the rule connection between Shenzhen and Hong Kong in the field of building environmental assessment. As the core participating unit of the standard pilot promotion, the Shenzhen Hong Kong Ecological Environment Green Development Alliance fully participates in the development and practical verification of standards, and helps to create a collaborative model of green building standards between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

The Qianhai Green Building Standard is jointly released by the Shenzhen Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau and Qianhai Management Bureau, drawing on the technical experience of professional organizations such as the Hong Kong Building Environmental Assessment Association. It innovatively introduces a "one-time evaluation, dual certification" mechanism, and projects can obtain certification from both mainland China and Hong Kong through a single evaluation. This standard achieves a deep integration of Shenzhen Hong Kong technical requirements in building energy efficiency, water resource utilization, low-carbon emissions, ecological protection, and provides unified technical specifications for environmental impact assessment of cross-border construction projects.

The relevant person in charge of the alliance introduced that in order to promote the implementation of standards, the alliance has organized three special training sessions, covering more than 200 construction enterprises, design units, and certification institutions in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Five key construction projects in Qianhai have been selected as the first pilot projects. Next, the alliance will continue to track the implementation of pilot projects, summarize replicable and promotable experience models, promote mutual recognition of professional qualifications and technical standards in the field of environmental impact assessment between Shenzhen and Hong Kong to a wider range, and help Qianhai build a green development pilot zone in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
