Recently, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Guangdong Province announced the list of "2024 Guangdong Hong Kong Clean Production Partner Logo Enterprises", and 31 joint ventures from Shenzhen and Hong Kong were successfully selected. This achievement is attributed to the Clean Production Collaborative Empowerment Action promoted by the Shenzhen Hong Kong Ecological Environment Green Development Alliance, which has helped Hong Kong funded enterprises accelerate their green transformation through policy promotion, technology integration, demonstration and leadership measures.

2024 In 2018, Shenzhen issued a mandatory clean production task for 146 enterprises, including 46 Hong Kong funded enterprises. 27 demonstration projects and 14 on-site evaluation projects were approved for enterprises in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, supporting the implementation of equipment updates and deep clean production transformation. The alliance, in collaboration with environmental technology institutions in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, organized 8 specialized training sessions on clean production and developed the "Guidelines for Clean Production Transformation of Hong Kong funded Enterprises", providing enterprises with a full process service of "diagnosis plan implementation certification".

According to statistics, through clean production transformation, the average unit energy consumption of selected enterprises has been reduced by more than 15%, and pollutant emissions have been reduced by more than 20%, achieving a win-win situation of ecological and economic benefits. Next, the alliance will expand the scope of empowering clean production, focus on key areas such as new energy and high-end manufacturing, promote more Shenzhen and Hong Kong enterprises to join the ranks of clean production, and help build a green and low-carbon industrial system.
